There is a reason why Xbox or Microsoft can’t come out and say those words about the studio closures it’s because of future studio purchases. If you come out until the open air about why your studio closed and how you plan to handle it you’ve given a future purchase and it could dissuade them from, going ahead with the deal. It might force them to charge you more to purchase their studio or it could even require that you put certain language in a contract that you would not have had to put in that contract. Had you kept your mouth shut. This is a business, this is not meeting with your friends in the basement to have fun. This is a business and it must be run like a business or you’ll look up one day and you won’t have a business.

Halo was a special case. It was on a horrible network no offense to Paramount, but that’s not the network you go to for sci-fi space opera. In addition is not the network you go to if you need a really big budget because your project has expensive qualities. Instant halo if you did it right we need some very expensive set pieces that wouldn’t be used very often. You’d have to have a lot of money that you could spend, and you’d have to understand that somebody might look at that for 20 seconds. Some networks have budgets that can function in that capacity. This was not one of those networks it was as if Microsoft was offered the opportunity and they were so happy to get it they didn’t bother to look at the capabilities of where they were going to put their TV show, and understand that this isn’t the place to do this other TV shows may have function very well there, but this was not the place for Halo. to be honest if you really wanted to do halo you can only go to HBO or Netflix right now because they’re the places that have the huge budget that can afford to do a 30 second set that might cost you several thousand dollars this was something Microsoft hit itself. It was a self-inflicted wound. They could’ve held halo in the chamber and just waited until they got the right the right script and they could’ve ran with it but here is the series key franchise. You will never be able to revive and put on some form of television service let that sink in a moment it will never happen for a long time. They would have to start again from scratch and they would have to wait until a great deal of time has passed to let this wound heal. It was inevitably a waste and to be honest, it was a lesson that all these companies need to learn don’t rush it. Just because you want to be on TV doesn’t mean you need to be on TV right now.

Colin, you say that you cannot grow fruit trees because of your climate (frost) . Maybe you you meant citrus trees and other stone fruit trees such as peaches and mangos. But I live in Central Canada and we can grow many varieties of apple, plums and pear trees in a zone 2 climate hardiness. There are also strawberries, blue berries, raspberries, Saskatoon berries, specific grapes etc perennials that can also survive -30°C soil temperatures.

i think Xbox 360 store is only closing for games that aren't BC, it makes no sense to delist BC games, some of which MS had to re-license with the publisher.
